AG restaurant revisited – review
We had been to AG before so we knew the drill. This time, however, I had my eyes and especially tummy set on the Grand Cru regardless of the price (695 crowns)!
This was the best piece of beef I’ve ever had, including the wagyu from Pontus! The meat was so tender and full of flavours that in the end, my taste buds were overblown and I couldn’t even finish the whole serving, this from a girl with a bottomless stomach! The richness of the meat made it seemed like I was chewing on a piece of butter, it was that rich! And the nuttiness of the meat was extraordinary, an explosion of tastes and smells. That was the first thing I noticed about the meat! When it was brought to the table, there was an enticing aroma wafting up to my nose and my mouth started salivating at once!
One thing that I didn’t like was that the steak came with a baked potato. I usually get the fries as the fries here are out of this world!!! I forgot about it and was so disappointed that I didn’t get my own fries. I supposed that I could’ve asked for them but the aroma from the Grand Cru was calling to me and I totally lost track of everything else!
Would I order this again? Absolutely, but next time, I’ll make sure that I was ravenous and 100% healthy so that I could finish my plate! I totally recommend this piece of meat and it’s worth every penny! 695 crowns is a fair price to pay to experience a bit of heaven!
The salad that came with didn’t have any dressing on it. I think they forgot to add it. Also, there was way too much parmesan cheese so that I couldn’t enjoy it.
