Flippin Burgers – review
I’ve wanted to eat at Flippin Burgers since they opened in 2012 but I never got a chance as I’m allergic to waiting in line for a bite to eat. Today was Flippin Burgers’ reopening day after the holidays and I decided to test out their mythic burgers!
We were there for lunch at 11:50 and already, there were about 10 people waiting. By the time 12 o’clock rolled around, there were about 30 people in line!
What it looked like inside
We took our seats and waited impatiently for a server to come take our orders. We both ordered the Flippin or classic double cheeseburgers. The hamburgers, when they made their appearance, looked a bit on the small side in the baskets but maybe it was because my tummy was bigger than my eyes. One bite of the patties and my hand was drenched in burger juice! My patties had a bit too much salt but the meat was so juicy and tasty and the bun was perfect – chewy enough to hold the patties together and not break and also perfectly sized to the patties. There’s nothing more annoying than having patties that just disappear inside the bun. This was the perfect bread to meat ratio. I was in heaven! Of course, this burg didn’t compare to the Ray’s hell burger I had in Washington but nothing compares to that beast! However, this was a perfectly good sub!
Would I come here again? Absolutely! Would I queue up for it? Hell, no!
Value for money: 4/5
