Juicing diet 2
I fell off the wagon yesterday! Enjoyed the day with copious amounts of sangria made with our homemade red currant wine and fresh watermelon juice! Add to that grilled corn on the cob with my special numb-tongue chili oil. Life doesn’t get better than that!
So I’ve been juicing religiously since my last post but I’ve added some solids to my diet, mainly because I couldn’t stand not doing #2’s! Yeah, I know – who would’ve thought eh!
Anyways, so I’ve been juicing religiously as I’ve said but I’ve only lost 1kg according to our bathroom scale. The strange thing is that I’ve gone down 2 sizes around the waist. So I’ve been ecstatic as well as down, off and on. I mean, ok, this diet thing hasn’t been so hard so far and my body’s taken really well to drinking veg which was and still a major surprise. In fact, I’ve become very dependent on my juice. Every time I drink one of these mega nutrients, I’ve felt like my entire body just opens up and soak in every tiny bit of the V’s (vitamins)! It’s gotten to the point where I look forward to taking my juice first thing in the morning.
So why is it going so slowly? At this rate, I won’t ever lose all 9 excess kgs! I guess I just to have to continue this crazy journey and see where it takes me. Stay tuned!
