Minako – review

I saw that Minako had gotten very good reviews on The Fork and for a while there, they had 30% discount off the food so it was a no-brainer to eat there.

The first time I ate there, I had the mixed sashimi. This was very fresh and the fish was at room temperature so it was perfect.

The second time I ate there, I again had the mix sashimi. This time, the fish was still frozen inside. Totally unacceptable. Fortunately, I had also ordered the red dragon roll and this was extraordinary. I would definitely pay for this at full price. The roll is deep fried tuna with the rice on the outside, topped with roe. My friend also raved about this.

The service is ok.

In conclusion, go here and get the red dragon roll. It’s delish! Don’t get the sashimi because it might still be frozen inside.
