Honey, ginger almond granola2016-12-19
This is so easy to make and so versatile that you can have it with your yoghurt, kefir, or as a crunchy topping to a panna cotta just to give the latter a bit of texture.
I don’t like raw honey but I love to use it in baking as it adds another layer of taste!
- 125ml rolled oats
- 125ml flour
- 100mL almond slivers
- 4 tablespoons softened butter
- 3 heaping tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
- couple pinches of salt
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Combine all ingredients and place on a baking sheet lined baking paper.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown, stirring once or twice.
Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container. The oats will harden and become crispy once cooled.
