Labneh is a Middle Eastern spread made from yoghurt and garlic. It is very refreshing and a must have on a meze table.
- 300 ml Turkish yoghurt (10%)
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, finely grated
- pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
Mix ingredients and pour into shallow dish. Use a knife or a spoon to even out the yoghurt for a smooth surface. Garnish with a mix of dried oregano and dried mint (or if you have, some zatar). Pour over some extra virgin olive oil.
Serve with pita bread or the bread of your choice. Super yummy!
