Make your own musli


This is so easy to make and I know exactly what’s in it, including the sugar. Beats the commercial product!

Use your favorite ingredients, toast them in the oven and voila, your very own musli with things that you love. Below is just one example of the ingredients. You can substitute your own favorite grains!


  • rolled oats
  • linseed
  • crushed buckwheat
  • sunflower seeds
  • pumpkin seeds
  • wheatgerm
  • coconut flakes
  • almond flakes
  • raisins
  • dried apricots
  • dried apples


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.

Step 2

Mix together the ingredients. You can decide on how much you want of each ingredient but the rolled oats should be the largest quantity.

Step 3

Transfer the mix to a cookie sheet, spread it out evenly and toast in the oven for 30 minutes or longer if you prefer extra crispy musli.

Step 4

Allow to cool and transfer to an airtight container.
